Playniac is a London-based studio making “thinky” games. We have worked as an indie developer and with clients since 2010. We pride ourselves on a design-led practice where the cornerstone of our development process is iterative design and prototyping before and during development.
Playniac are currently developing a turn-based strategy battle game called Insane Robots. Other Playniac games include Cat On Yer Head, International Racing Squirrels (Channel 4) and Anomaly X (Amplify – not yet released). They have also made games for BBC, CBBC, BBC Bitesize, British Gas, UKTV, Nickelodeon and Dreamworks; and worked with organisations such as the Southbank Centre, the National Maritime Museum, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust and BAFTA Games.
