Ralf Nemetschek is managing director of the Nemetschek Stiftung. After his studies in physics he worked some ten years in a university spin-off, which meanwhile became a global leader in the field of high temperature superconductors. He and his father founded the Nemetschek Stiftung in 2007.
The Nemetschek Stiftung is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit foundation whose goal is to foster the culture of democracy in Germany. The foundation seeks to provide attractive new ways of approaching socially important topics by developing innovative project ideas, forging new paths, uncovering unusual perspectives and generating surprising cross-connections. The projects undertaken by the Nemetschek Stiftung aim to strengthen the awareness of social processes but also to make correlations visible, to stimulate thinking and to inspire individuals to participate actively in the ongoing development of our society.
