Michael Boniface was born in Scotland in 1973. He attended the University of Bristol in England during which time he published work on Upper Triassic Reptiles before obtaining an Honours Degree in Geology in 1999. He then went on to achieve a Postgraduate Degree in Information Technology from the University of St Andrews in 2001. In 2003 Michael joined Ingenico, the French owned payment transaction systems company, where he progressed into the role of Technical Operations Manager covering Business Systems, IT, Product Support and QA. In 2006 he joined JP Morgan as Vice President of Technology and Operations managing globally diverse teams in both service delivery and project architecture. Michael first entered the creative industries when he joined Realtime Worlds as Director of IT in 2009. After the company collapse in 2010, and subsequent purchase of the IP of its flag ship title APB by Reloaded Games in California, Michael was invited to build and run the new Development studio based in Scotland. As Managing Director of Reloaded Productions Limited, he has overseen the development and subsequent re-release of the title as free to play under the banner APB Reloaded. For the past 3 years the game has remained consistently in the top 10 free to play games on Steam and has recently expanded its brand onto mobile platforms. In addition to his duties at Reloaded Michael works in an advisory capacity to a number of smaller studios and startups. He remains passionate about building and motivating internationally diverse creative teams and the benefits achieved through a collaborative and productive workforce.
