Markus is a games industry veteran with about 20 years of experience in PR and Communications. He has worked in Munich, New York, San Francisco and London and was in charge of communications locally, internationally and globally for major publishers like Activision, Rockstar Games and 2K. He was responsible for the global PR campaigns for critically acclaimed and commercially successful titles like BioShock, Borderlands, Sid Meier’s Civilization, XCOM, Mafia and the sports franchises NBA 2K and WWE 2K. Hungry for a new challenge he returned to his hometown of Munich, Germany in the summer of 2015 to join production company rcp. He is in charge of all external and internal communication at rcp and its family of developer studios, and also works on business development, investor relations and the internationalization of the group.
