Marc Erich Latoschik
Marc holds the chair for human-computer interaction at Würzburg University. He works on novel perceptive interfaces between men and machines for more than 25 years. These interfaces are based on an interdisciplinary approach which combines methods from real-time 3D graphics and simulation, virtual, mixed, and augmented environments, Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, and cognitive sciences. Marc’s group has an extensive background in the application of these methods to areas like computer games, speech and gesture interaction, virtual construction, simulation and training, illusion of virtual body ownership, virtual agents, scientific visualization, medical care, and many more.
