Producer of DarkOrbit Reloaded
Jonathan Lindsay is the producer of the AAA MMO Drakensang Online and the former producer of Bigpoint´s all-time classic DarkOrbit. Jonathan joined Bigpoint, a leading online game developer and publisher, in July 2012 as Lead Game Designer for the MMO space shooter DarkOrbit. By June 2013 he had stepped into the role of producer to oversee a major update. At that time DarkOrbit already entertained an 80 million player registered user base and was in its 7th year. The update to DarkOrbit Reloaded included high-resolution graphics, a new user interface, easy access to the game for new users, more rewarding gameplay, increased fairness among players and a fundamental rethinking of several aspects of the game’s core systems. The result was the launch of DarkOrbit Reloaded in February 2014, an epic space action MMO that boasts a refined new look and which has enjoyed tremendous acceptance among both its core audience and a massive number of new users. Since switching over to Producer of Drakensang Online in February 2014, Jonathan has been responsible for reworking the game and its gameplay mechanics.
