Hendrik Lesser is managing director of the Munich based production house remote control productions, which was founded in 2005. He is Executive Producer of the development studio Chimera Entertainment as well as Deputy Chairman of the german game developers association “G.A.M.E. Bundesverband” and board member of the EGDF, the European Games Developer Federation. In addition to that Hendrik is member of the jury of the German Developer Award and executive board member of the non-profit association “Videospielkultur e.V.”, focusing on the political and academic acceptance of video games as goods of cultural value. Hendrik lectures at game specific schools like the “Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film”, the Technical University Munich and the “Games Academy”. Hendrik Lesser has been working as Development Manager for Take 2 Interactive were he, amongst others, produced the bestselling title Sacred. He was responsible for national and international product strategies, reported directly to the US-headquarters of Take 2 in NY and managed business development in Middle and Eastern Europe. Since 2005, he has been gradually building a network of development studios throughout Germany, which he has picked up at an early stage and developed into what they are today. The best example of this is Chimera Entertainment GmbH. Starting as a student team, Chimera is now a successful development studio with more than 30 employees, located in the centre of Munich.

remote control productions (RCP) is Germany’s major developer network and an independent production house focusing on development and production of games. Since 2005 the Munich based company is supporting, financing and coaching startups and development studios. RCP is also participating in projects in the fields of serious games, gamification, conferences, education and lobbying. While doing this RCP partnered up and became co-owners of multiple development studios. The ever-expanding network consists of a dozen studios with different fields of expertise like mobile games, browser games, serious games or gamification applications. Thanks to our network and additional partners nationally and internationally, RCP established itself as a credible, efficient and reliable production partner on more than 50 projects for PC, mobile, browser and console.
