Principal Software Engineer
As principle software engineer at AKQA, Harald has developed a wide range of digital experiences merging creativity and technology including award-winning solutions like the Fiat eco:Drive connected car app or the motion-tracking installation Nike+ FuelStation at Boxpark, London. Most recently he was part of the team launching the Nissan IDx virtual reality experience for Oculus Rift at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013.
Harald joined AKQA in 2007 in London, before moving to the company’s Berlin office in 2014. Prior to AKQA, he started his career as a flash developer working at different Hamburg-based interactive and web development companies.
Currently, Harald is further exploring the potential of the Oculus VR technology and how it can be applied to solve business and consumer problems beyond the gaming realm.
