Clemens Fuhrmeister studied Economics in Germany and South Korea. During his studies he specialized in industrial organization and empirical methods. In his job as a research assistant he is in charge of the international bachelor program and gives lectures and tutorials on various subjects. He is currently a visiting PhD student at the London School of Economics. In his PhD thesis he examines apps in the Google Play store market. The main question is which pricing strategies and app characteristics are associated with the apps success. Complex methods from data science and econometrics are used to study the data.
