Alexander Piutti has more than 20 years of top management experience, focusing on the development and launch of online products. Before creating GameGenetics, Piutti was engaged in different leading internet companies of the GSA region and North America, for example Yahoo! (Head of Search Europe, London), and – as one of first employees in Europe – Overture (today Yahoo Search Marketing) which was later sold to Yahoo for $1.6 Bn. Before diving into the online industry in 1999, Alexander worked as a management consultant for Booz & Company. Alexander holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering (Düsseldorf), as well as an MBA from Wharton (University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia) with a Major in Entrepreneurship. GameGenetics GmbH, founded in 2009 in Berlin, is a leading distributorof free mobile and online games. The company enables game developers and publishers to market games more effectively and to speed up their global growth. GameGenetics works closely with leading publishers such as Electronic Arts, Kabam and Ubisoft. It currently has a portfolio of 680 high quality mobile and online games developed by 280 game developers/publishers available in 185 countries and in over 30 languages. To reach out to relevant target groups, GameGenetics has created an international distribution network comprised of more than 3,000 channel partners such as Dell, MSN and Lenovo, hundreds of gaming websites and advertising networks as Facebook, Yahoo! and Google. In Germany, GameGenetics established media cooperations with key players like Deutsche Telekom, Bild.de und Web.de.
